Pure Heroine

After listening to Lorde's, Pure Heroine on Spotify for months, I finally went and bought the album. Her songs two songs, Royals and Team, are currently being played out on most pop stations. Yet, I still cant get enough of Lorde. The album has ten songs, and I like them all. My favorite song on the album would have to be 400 Lux. Something about this song reminds me of spending time with someone and just going around aimlessly, yet having a good time. As her lyrics say in the song, "We're never done with killing time
Can I kill it with you
'til the veins run red and blue?
We come around here all the time
Got a lot to not do
Lemme kill it with you."
It's just what I imagine to go along with the song.

When I first heard Lorde on the radio with her debut single, Royals, I immediately fell in love with the song. The beat and her lyrics kept me listening. No matter how many times its been played on the radio (too many times) I still like the song, even though I change the channel every time I hear it. The fact that Lorde has written most of her songs and produced them as well, is very interesting. The most intersting thing is that she is only 17. At the end of 2012, she released the Love Club EP that she had co-written and co-produced with Joel Little. The Love Club EP is just as good as her newest album.

Lorde's msic is some of my favorite, it just gets better. The first day that I purchased Pure Heroine, I tried to play it in the car and my mom refused because she was "sick of hearing Lorde" because of her  music always on the radio. Two days later, the album was playing in my room and my mom walked in and was nodding her head along to the music. Maybe she likes Lorde a little more than she thought...

So I will continue to play Pure Heroine until I get sick of it, but for now it will be on repeat.
