Hello

Hello everyone!
My name is Rainna, and I'm 15 years old and I live in Music City, a.k.a Nashville. Every since I was little, I've been very open to all types of music. Now Im finally pursuing what I love about music. I created this blog, to share with the world what I'm listening to and who I like and who I don't like.

As I said before, I am open to all types of music, though I am not a big fan of country music. I guess that is kind of ironic because I live in the country music capital. Being a teenage girl, it might be no surprise that I love One Direction and Justin Bieber. I've been a fan of Justin Bieber since I was 11 years old. Nothing has changed. Despite my typical teenage music choice, I like a lot of bands as well. My current favorite artist is a long list, but I'm usually listening to any of these groups at any given time.

Ever since my first concert, at the age of 4 (Janet Jackson), I've always been interested in music. 11 years later, I have been to 55 concerts, eight of them in the last year. One being a rap concert, some being  country, some pop and plenty classic rock concerts. My mom has always encouraged me to go to as many concerts as possible. In 2006 she took me to see the Rolling Stones, I finally got to see Mick Jagger do what I call the "chicken" across the stage. I've seen Aerosmith twice, Kiss and Bon Jovi as well. My favorite rock show that I have been to was when I saw Van Halen with David Lee Roth. I had previously seen Van Halen with Sammy Hagar, but Sammy didn't compare.

I really have my mom to thank for my wide taste in music, she has always encouraged me to listen to what I like. My first true love with an album was when she bought me Green Day's American Idiot when I was in second grade. It might have been a controversial album to give to a 7 year old, but I didn't  understand everything they said, I just loved it. American Idiot is still my favorite album and Green Day is still my favorite band.

So that's just a little about me, but this blog isnt just about me. It's about music. I guess it is a lot about me because it's what I like, and what I don't like. But anyway, I just want to talk about concerts I'm going to, and what I''m listening to, or what my friends are listening to. Well I guess this is goodbye for now.
