Concerts

Living in Nashville, I get a firsthand experience of a lot music. There are shows everyday and many places. The only bad thing, is that some shows are 18 and up. It's really hard for me to see some of my favorite artists when I'm under the age of 18. I know my mom can take me to those shows, but I doubt she wants to see my screaming over the 1975 when she doesn't necessarily enjoy their music as much as I do. Maybe, I can start something where your parents have to sign a permission slip, just so I can go to a show. I wish that was possible. When I realize an artist is in town, I get very excited. Then when I look at the information about tickets, it's 18 and up and there's no possible way I can go. That's probably the most heartbreaking thing when it comes to shows, unless it's sold out.
When concerts get sold out, I lose all hope. What else do I live for, if a show I'm dying to go to is sold out. I have been waiting to see Lana Del Rey since 2011, and the show sold out so fast. Now the only way to get tickets are from scalpers, and I do not have that type of money.  It's unfortunate that real fans of an artist can't get tickets to a show, because someone else has taken the opportunity away just so they can make more money. From now on maybe I'll save every penny so I can see all of the shows I want. Concerts really do bring me a lot of joy. They are so fun and being with an artist that you enjoy is amazing. Concerts can be personal, no matter what the size. In my life I have been to 55 concerts, my first being Janet Jackson. I will even be attending Miley Cyrus next week. Honestly, concerts are what I live for.
